Connect for Change is a new form of international philanthropy – a direct way for donors to find, support, and get directly involved with inspiring projects in India. 

We aim to make the experience of giving engaging, and connect donors with exciting initiatives taking place in India that currently fall outside the radar of big agency funding, yet are strikingly effective.

Connect for Change was founded in 2006 as a response to British Asian donors’ need to be able to get in-depth advise on more effective giving and address concerns about accountability and impact.

In our first four months, we have raised £170,000 to give away to NGOs in India. Our approach is to source and validate inspiring and important development initiatives in India, which meet criteria, across a wide spectrum of activity.
